UC Radio is the creation of 80‘s and 90‘s L.A. Rock scene survivor Mike Yusi. A mix of great rock music, album referrals and reviews, humor, and astute observations about our culture and times, UC Radio is the most accurate rebirth of the Southern California pirate radio community out there. Enjoying total freedom of speech, content and format, Mike brings a certain So. Cal. flair to the show, playing the best music available from both indie and major labels, doing spotlight shows on major artists, all while educating the masses with his “This Day in Music History” segments in every show. And if you’re lucky, you might catch Mike on a day when he’ll explain his physical reaction to Coldplay. In the end, it’s all about the music, and Mike’s dedication to playing only tunes that he actually listens to himself keeps the show honest and entertaining. And as Mike always says, Volume is Good, so Turn it Up!
